Wabash Valley Power Alliance offers a paid summer Communications & Engagement Internship in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will gain hands-on experience supporting a wide range of communications, marketing, and employee engagement initiatives, with exposure to corporate communications, social media, event planning, and content creation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Current college student pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Event Management, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation is required.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while coordinating with teams.

Responsibilities

Draft content for newsletters, intranet stories, emails, and social media posts.
Conduct staff interviews to gather information for articles and spotlights.
Assist with photography, video capture, and content gathering at events and project sites.
Support development of presentations, promotional materials, and communication toolkits.
Monitor communications channels and assist with content updates.
