Job summary

Wabash Valley Power is offering a paid Summer 2027 Energy Efficiency & Demand Response Intern position in Indianapolis, IN. The internship focuses on energy programs, data analysis, and member engagement within the Strategic Electrification and Member Relations team.

The role involves assisting with program tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communications while gaining exposure to grids, energy markets, and distributed energy resources.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze participation, savings, energy use, and program performance.
• Support energy efficiency and rebate programs and track participation.
• Assist demand response programs including PowerShift and related initiatives.
• Create dashboards, charts, and reports communicating results.
• Coordinate trainings and member engagement activities.
