Job summary

The Cincinnati Art Museum is seeking a part-time Philanthropy Communication Intern for the Spring 2027 term. The role offers hands-on experience in storytelling, donor engagement, email campaigns, and event coverage, collaborating with the Philanthropy and Marketing teams.

You will conduct video interviews, edit footage, and contribute to fundraising and marketing efforts using WordFly, gaining exposure to arts administration and communications in a museum setting.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism, media, marketing, communications, or a related field
• Self-starter with strong communication and organization skills.
• Comfortable communicating with diverse groups of people
• Creative and team-oriented
• Receptive to constructive feedback
• Proficient in video and audio editing using Capcut, Clipchamp, and equivalent apps
• Interest in arts administration, fundraising, journalism and media

Responsibilities

• Conduct video interviews and capture footage of donor and member events
• Edit video for fundraising and marketing purposes
• Write and build email campaigns
• Utilize CAM’s email platform WordFly
• Collaborate with Philanthropy and Marketing departments on storytelling and donor engagement
