Job summary

World Relief Quad Cities is seeking a part-time Communications Coordinator to lead local storytelling, content development, and audience engagement. The role collaborates with program staff and the US Advancement Department to craft stories that communicate impact and support fundraising, advocacy, and community engagement.

The position manages content for newsletters, blogs, donor communications, and social media, while ensuring ethical storytelling standards and a consistent brand voice.

Qualifications

• Ability to convey complex program info through storytelling.
• Experience with blogs, newsletters, websites, email marketing, and social media.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop compelling stories showcasing program impact.
• Interview participants and partners with ethical storytelling.
• Write/edit content for blogs, newsletters, websites and donor communications.
• Capture photos, videos, and multimedia assets for storytelling.
• Ensure consent and privacy standards are followed.
• Maintain an organized library of assets and a content calendar.
• Collaborate with USAD and local staff on storytelling efforts.
• Manage the office's social media presence (Facebook, Instagram).
