Effingham County is seeking a Stormwater & Utilities Engineer to plan, design, review, and manage county stormwater, drainage, water, sewer, and utility infrastructure projects.

This role provides technical engineering expertise, manages capital projects from planning through construction, supports regulatory compliance, and coordinates with County departments, consultants, contractors, developers, utilities, and regulatory agencies.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources Engineering or a closely related field.
• At least five years of progressively responsible related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Mansioni

• Plan, design, review and manage county stormwater, drainage, water, sewer, and utility infrastructure projects.
• Prepare or review hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, drainage studies, utility plans, calculations, specifications, cost estimates, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with County departments, consultants, contractors, developers, utilities, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
• Support regulatory compliance and monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, and grant documentation.
