Job summary

Actalent, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Project Engineer in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will contribute to stormwater master planning, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and permitting while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team across public and private sectors.

Responsibilities include managing design tasks, coordinating with clients and staff, and mentoring junior engineers. A Georgia PE and at least 6 years in Water Resources are preferred, with strong communication and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required or preferred (GA focus).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Water Resources (Stormwater).
• Experience with stormwater master planning, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
• Manage design assignments, scope/fee development, project management, and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, agencies, and staff across locations.
• Manage watershed studies, stormwater master plans, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis (1D/2D).
• Perform and manage water resource studies, FEMA LOMCs, and capital projects.
• Provide oversight and mentoring of team members.
• Monitor scope of work and fees during projects.
