Job summary

The City of Greer, SC is hiring a Stormwater Technician II in the Public Services Department. You will install and maintain stormwater systems citywide, operate light and heavy equipment, and perform trenching, grading, and catch basin work.

Qualifications

• High school or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience in stormwater maintenance.
• First aid/CPR, traffic control training, and pipe installation trainings.
• Class B CDL or able to obtain within one year of hire.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains stormwater systems throughout the City.
• Builds and repairs catch basins, installs storm pipe, and inspects and cleans storm system.
• Operates a variety of light and heavy-duty equipment and tools.
• Supports inclement weather operations and safety procedures.
