Job summary

Pape-Dawson seeks an experienced Project Manager - Stormwater to lead planning, coordination, and delivery of stormwater and flood projects in Texas. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality while guiding multidisciplinary teams and mentoring engineers and designers.

The role emphasizes technical leadership in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, FEMA mapping, and environmental coordination, with strong client relationships and growth opportunities. PE licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state(s) required to support project work.
• Minimum of 5 years (6 preferred) managing projects from conception through completion.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, budgets, schedules, teams, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver high-quality work in accordance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Manage project execution, including scopes, budgets, schedules, risks, deliverables, and resource coordination across concurrent assignments.
• Provide technical leadership and quality oversight for project deliverables such as plans, reports, calculations, specifications, estimates, and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subconsultants, clients, agencies, and stakeholders to resolve issues and support timely delivery.
• Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships through responsive communication and solution-oriented problem solving.
• Support business development and pursuit activities including scope development, proposals, and interviews.
