Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects for public and private clients in Texas. You will oversee project scopes, budgets, and schedules, while guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will drive client satisfaction, nurture long-term partnerships, and spearhead business development, mentoring staff and advancing firm-wide standards and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in water and wastewater project management.
• Proven success managing large, complex utility projects and clients.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary client contact for major projects to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Lead development of project scopes, budgets, proposals, and contracts.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams with technical guidance and oversight.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables including plans and calculations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to utility requirements.
• Manage schedules, budgets, staffing, and resources across multiple projects.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews, risk assessments, and constructability evaluations.
• Represent the firm at client presentations, board meetings, and public hearings.
• Lead business development activities including RFQs, proposals, and account growth.
• Support staff development, standards, and best practices.
