The City of Loveland seeks an experienced Stormwater Maintenance Supervisor to manage daily planning, organization, and execution of stormwater operations and maintenance. You will lead a crew of full-time and seasonal staff, coordinate equipment use, and respond to weather-related events in Loveland, CO.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 5 years of relevant equipment operation, and a valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement.

Qualificações

• 5 years operating heavy, construction, stormwater, drainage, road maintenance equipment or related field experience.
• Some supervisory or lead worker experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with air brake endorsement.
• Must possess NASCCO Pipeline Assessment Certification or obtain within 12 months of hire date.
• Must possess Traffic Control Supervisor and flagging certification, or obtain within 120 days of hire date.
• Proficient with asset management software and record keeping.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, assign, manage, supervise, and evaluate a variety of stormwater operations and maintenance programs, activities, and crews.
• Responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs of stormwater infrastructure (sewers, inlets, channels, BMPs).
• Oversee arterial, collector, and residential street sweeping programs.
• Lead snow/ice control shift in winter and assist with storm events and staff training.
• Respond to emergencies such as flooding, adverse weather, spills, and illicit discharges.
• Direct and lead the Public Works safety program with the Stormwater Maintenance crew.
• Ensure crews have training, equipment, and materials to perform duties safely and efficiently.
• Create work orders, schedule repairs, and manage asset data in the City system.
