Job description

Perform a variety of unskilled to semi-skilled manual labor tasks to maintain, repair, and construct the City’s stormwater infrastructure system. Responsibilities include repairing and installing pipes, catch basins, manholes, and maintaining ditches, cleaning catch basins, rodding and clearing pipes. Work involves labor-intensive tasks and the use of basic hand, gas, electric, and pneumatic tools such as shovels, rakes, axes, chainsaws, jackhammers, and concrete saws. The employee may assist with basic infrastructure repairs, concrete work, and operate non-specialized equipment as needed. Maintaining accurate equipment and work records is also required.
