Apex Companies is seeking a Landscape Foreman (Stormwater) in San Marcos, TX. The role leads a crew, directs landscaping and stormwater maintenance, and travels locally to client sites, with a 40-55 hour work week.

You will operate equipment, perform maintenance tasks, and document field work using Apex systems; compensation is $22.00 - $24.00 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of experience with manual labor, outdoor experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally; 15 days of travel typical (M-F).
• Must be 21 years of age due to DOT interstate transportation requirements.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting, etc.) in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and schedule landscaping, routine maintenance, and light repairs of stormwater infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates).
• Lead a crew of 2-4 crew members and enforce safety regulations.
• Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance, and light construction for client properties.
• Operate landscaping and light construction equipment and maintain the equipment trailer.
• Prepare reports and document work in Apex proprietary systems.
• Travel from the shop location to client sites locally and regionally; travel ~15 days per month.
