Job summary

HDR is seeking a Stormwater Intern in Austin, TX. You will gain real-world experience on engineering projects and be mentored by professionals, while connecting with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring programs.

You will apply standard engineering techniques and procedures, performing assignments under supervision and handling other duties as needed. Local candidates preferred; enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0 GPA.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; attention to detail.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0 GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of any software packages related to field of study/industry including ArcGIS Pro, Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, StormCAD, Microsoft Excel.
• Local Candidates Preferred
