Job summary

Gulfshoresal in Sarasota County seeks a dedicated Stormwater Technician to inspect and maintain conveyance systems and appurtenances along road rights-of-way.

You'll operate CCTV equipment, backhoes, vacuum trucks, and other machinery, respond to emergencies, and pursue NASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP certifications while adhering to FDOT specifications. Starting pay is $22.14 per hour with on-call duties and opportunities for higher steps based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in stormwater conveyance systems.
• Florida Class B CDL with tanker endorsement within six months of hire.
• Florida Driver License at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Inspect stormwater conveyance systems, pipelines, and related structures.
• Operate CCTV equipment and other heavy machinery used in maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and lead staff in safe operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components used in CCTV processes.
• Complete and submit work orders promptly and professionally.
