Job summary

Consor is seeking a stormwater engineer to design plans, prepare drainage reports, and develop documents for municipal storm sewers and road drainage systems. You will review designs, perform H&H analyses, and assist in producing technical memorandums.

The role offers growth in a collaborative, flexible environment with opportunities across infrastructure and drainage, with a salary range of $100k–$140k depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of stormwater, H&H, and drainage experience.
  • Proficiency in OpenRoads, Civil3D or AutoCAD.
  • UDOT project experience.
  • HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, StormCAD and similar software experience.
  • Perform floodplain mapping and analysis for FEMA and local agencies.
  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental or a related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.

Responsibilities

  • Review project design and reports and assist with project management and scheduling for stormwater projects.
  • Perform H&H analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
  • Prepare construction plans and specifications as well as technical memorandums and reports.
  • Develop probable construction cost estimates for projects.
  • Observe construction and coordinate with contractors.
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines such as roadway, geotechnical, structures, etc.
  • Perform stormwater management and drainage studies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Mentor junior staff and Designers.
