Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in soil science, civil or construction engineering or a closely related field.
• Valid Iowa driver’s license required.
• Thorough knowledge of stormwater regulations and MS-4/Phase II requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review site plans, subdivision and post-construction submittals for stormwater compliance.
• Prepare annual goals, objectives, budgets and NPDES reports.
• Design stormwater management systems for City facilities.
• Participate in public hearings and outreach programs, including the Smart Watersheds program.
• Coordinate with city staff and stakeholders on stormwater issues and education.
