Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Civil/Stormwater Engineering Intern in Orlando, Florida. You will support our civil and stormwater team on drainage and water infrastructure projects, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned engineers.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree with interest in hydrology, hydraulics, and site design. You will work in a collaborative environment, blending classroom knowledge with real-world project work.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Interest in stormwater management, drainage design, hydrology, hydraulics, or civil infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles through coursework or projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and use Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil and stormwater design and analyses.
• Support planning of stormwater systems and drainage improvements.
• Assist with hydrologic/hydraulic calculations and modeling.
• Prepare drawings, reports, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers on project tasks.
