Job summary

Cogent Analytics seeks a Yard Manager to oversee the overall management, maintenance, and readiness of all facilities, including HQ and remote yards. The role ensures safety, compliance, and optimized operations to support rapid deployment during storm restoration events.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in facilities management, with experience across multiple locations and strong leadership. Travel to yard locations is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
5+ years of facilities management experience in construction, utilities, or industrial environments.
Experience managing multiple locations or regional operations.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Overseeing daily operations related to fleet, facilities, and asset management across departments.
Resource management and optimization of personnel, materials, and equipment.
Develop and implement policies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and identify improvement opportunities.
Lead, motivate, and mentor teams with performance management.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and goals.
Communicate with stakeholders and support emergency response readiness.
