Job summary

City of Lehi is seeking a Water Systems Operator 1/2/3/4 to maintain and repair the storm drain collection system. This role may operate machinery to clean water systems and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma, and a Utah CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months, with potential progression to higher operator grades based on experience and state wastewater certification within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school.
• Experience with underground water systems, equipment placement, residential service locations, easements and right-of-way preferred.
• Must have Utah CDL license or obtain it within 6 months.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Will pass drug test and background check.
• State Wastewater Certification Grade 1 within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of skilled duties related to the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of the city storm drain collection system.
• May operate machinery to clean water systems.
