800 New Look is seeking a Roofing Outside Sales Representative in the Detroit metro area. You will generate your own leads through door-to-door canvassing, engage homeowners on roofing concerns, and guide customers through storm restoration and insurance processes.

A company vehicle may be provided after an initial period based on performance. This 1099, commission-only role offers flexible scheduling and uncapped earning potential, with some company-generated leads possible.

Qualifications

• Comfortable going door to door and generating own leads.

Responsibilities

• Generate new roofing leads through door-to-door canvassing and neighborhood outreach.
• Follow up on company-provided leads and appointments when available.
• Identify neighborhoods and properties that may have experienced storm-related roof damage.
• Meet with homeowners to discuss roofing concerns and potential storm damage.
• Be comfortable climbing ladders and accessing roofs to assist with roof assessments and identify visible damage.
• Educate homeowners about the roofing and insurance restoration process.
• Present and promote 800 New Look roofing products and services.
• Prepare and deliver accurate estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales and project process.
• Develop strong customer relationships and generate referrals and repeat business.
• Work with our production and installation teams to help ensure a positive customer experience.
• Stay informed about roofing products, storm restoration practices, and industry trends.

About the Role:

Join 800 New Look as a Roofing Outside Sales Representative focused on storm restoration and insurance-related roofing projects throughout the Metro Detroit area.

We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, and self-driven sales professional who is comfortable generating their own leads through door-to-door canvassing and neighborhood outreach. Some company-generated leads may be provided, but this is not a position where you will rely solely on preset appointments. Successful representatives are proactive, willing to knock doors, identify storm-damaged properties, and build their own sales pipeline.

This is a 1099, commission-only position with the flexibility to manage your own schedule and uncapped earning potential based on your sales performance. You should be comfortable working independently, talking with homeowners, climbing ladders to assist with roof assessments, and guiding customers through the roofing and storm restoration process.

A company vehicle may be provided after an initial period based on performance, reliability, and continued contracting relationship.

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable going door to door and generating your own leads.
• Comfortable approaching and speaking with homeowners.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working at roof height.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Ability to manage your own schedule, leads, follow-ups, and sales pipeline.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Results-driven attitude with a willingness to prospect consistently.
• Roofing, construction, storm restoration, insurance claims, or outside sales experience is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to learn our products, processes, and approach to customer service.
High school diploma or equivalent.
