Job summary

St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center is seeking a positive, energetic individual to assist in our food service operations at the North Campus, St. Louis, MO.

You will verify vendor invoices, stock and rotate supplies, label items with use-by dates, and help maintain clean storerooms while following CBORD recipes and guidelines. Qualifications include at least 1 year in food service or equivalent, ability to read recipes, lift up to 35 lbs, and a 6-month probationary period with no recent

Qualifications

• 1 year previous work experience or training in food service or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Lift up to 35 lbs.
• Completion of 6 month probationary period.
• No disciplinary action in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders from prime vendors against provided invoices.
• Put up ordered supplies in paper storage, dry storage, refrigerator, and freezer areas.
• Use FIFO inventory practices to rotate supplies.
• Look for inconsistencies and report to supervisor for credit from vendor.
• Label all food stuffs with a use-by date and dispose of expired items as needed.
• Weigh out and pull ingredients needed per recipes printed from CBORD by Stores/Warehouse.
• Sweep and mop Storeroom daily; deep clean shelving and racks weekly.
