Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Assistant for our South Lake Union site. You will process inbound and outbound shipments and support various Supply Chain tasks as needed.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, Pharmacy Assistant License within 45 days, forklift/pallet jack certifications within 120 days, and ability to lift heavy loads with safe technique. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; must be able to obtain Pharmacy Assistant License within 45 days.
• Pharmacy Assistant License within 45 days and Forklift/Pallet Jack certification within 120 days.
• Knowledge of computerized or automated systems and record-keeping practices.
• Effective communication; ability to lift heavy packages (>50 lbs) and push/pull 400 lbs.
• Basic math and knowledge of safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing items according to department guidelines.
• Cover various Supply Chain roles daily as business and staffing dictates, including manual, storeroom, and shipping/receiving duties.
• Assist and train new employees in areas of operations.
