Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking an HR Manager of Stores to shape culture and drive talent across Florida’s 3 districts and 32+ stores, partnering with district and store leaders on talent, culture, and capability.

The role requires deep HR knowledge, travel 50-75% (roughly 2 weeks per month), and oversight of performance, onboarding, succession, relations, recruitment, and compliance to keep pay and benefits competitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 7-10 years total experience in HR roles.
• Solid understanding of employment law and policy administration.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM Certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS (Workday) and other tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performance Management: administer performance evaluations and partner with Talent COE.
• Talent Management & Development: lead onboarding and training, succession planning, and coaching.
• Employee Relations: address concerns, resolve conflicts, and document issues.
• Talent Acquisition: oversee recruitment processes across districts and collaborate with TA strategy.
• HR Policies & Compliance: ensure legal compliance and provide guidance on employment practices.
• Culture & Change: use HR data to drive continuous improvement and diversity initiatives.
