Qualifications

• Prior storeroom/inventory and supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates who order, receive, and put away inventory.
• Supervise associates who issue or ship materials.
• Ensure stocks are adequate and stored to preserve quality.
• Ensure FIFO is used to minimize waste.
• Plan storeroom layout considering turnover, size and weight.
• Communicate with management and advise on non-usable or excess stock.
• Resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock records.
• Assist vendors in access to deliveries and supervise when area is unsecure.
• Covers shifts for storeroom staff when needed.
