Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Storeroom Attendant on a part-time basis at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax, VA. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–12:30 pm. Requires 1 year storeroom experience. A $750 sign-on bonus applies (half at 30 days, remainder at 90 days). Pay ranges from $17.95 to $18.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year previous storeroom experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receives and inventories departmental supplies and food to ensure efficient operation.
• Stores food and supplies in correct containers and proper storage areas per guidelines.
• Maintains records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable items.
• Dates, labels, and rotates stock using oldest product first.
• Orders food and supplies according to company protocols.
• Secures storeroom areas and follows security procedures for safety.
• Transports supplies in appropriate containers to ensure safe delivery.
• Follows HACCP guidelines in receiving and distributing food supplies.
• Reports maintenance or safety issues with equipment as needed.
• Completes daily, weekly, and monthly reports per corporate policies.
