Responsibilities

• Supervise associates who order, receive, and put away inventory.
• Supervise associates who issue or ship materials.
• Ensure stocks are adequate and stored to preserve quality.
• Ensure FIFO system is used to minimize waste.
• Plan storeroom layout considering turnover and size.
• Communicate with management and advise on excess stock.
• Resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock records.
• Assist vendors and supervise access to storeroom when unsecure.
• Covers shifts for storeroom staff on vacation or illness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
