Job summary

Loews Hotels, LLC. is seeking a Storeroom/Receiving professional for the Universal Orlando property. This role handles daily storeroom operations, inventory control, and reporting, while ensuring correct stock rotation and safety standards. You will collaborate with chefs, purchasing, and vendors to maintain smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in storeroom or receiving, strong Excel skills, and the ability to lead a small team. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of storeroom, warehouse, inventory, or receiving experience.
• Leadership ability to train and motivate a small team.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, product rotation (FIFO), receiving standards.
• Comfortable using inventory systems and Microsoft Excel/Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs storeroom activities and verifies receipt of materials and supplies as specified on PO documents.
• Assists in completing computerized receiving reports and transmits documentation to cost controllers and accounts payable.
• Notifies Director of Purchasing of discrepancies to request credits, replacements, or adjustments.
• Maintains organized purchase order and receiving documentation files.
• Applies dating, pricing, and tagging to all items stored.
• Ensures proper storage, rotation and refrigeration of perishable items when applicable.
• Follows requisition procedures for materials and supplies leaving storeroom.
• Updates stock levels and notifies supervisor when parcels are received and issued.
