Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Attendant to support daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting at a customer site. The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and reliable teamwork to maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include unloading, labeling, issuing items, entering stock data, and conducting periodic inventories. Training occurs on first shift; second shift operates Mon-Fri evenings with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ months relevant experience or training.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn; proficiency with MS Office and related systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and stores incoming product, checks for damage and discrepancies.
• Sorts, labels and stores items to optimize crib space and efficiency.
• Issues products to site employees and documents issued items.
• Enters data to maintain up-to-date stock records and respond to inquiries.
• Performs cycle counts and prepares inventory reports.
• Delivers tools or equipment to work locations and locates lost items.
• May repair, service and lubricate tools and equipment as required.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
