Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Crib Attendant to support daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting at a customer site. The role emphasizes maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient storeroom workflow and ensuring accurate stock records.

You will unload and store items, issue to staff, and enter data into the system to track inventory levels and delivery schedules. A high school diploma and 3+ months related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ months relevant experience.
• Warehouse experience: loading/unloading, picking/packing; forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and maintenance instructions.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn MS-Office, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21.
• Strong math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide; compute rate and percent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team-oriented and self-motivated to complete tasks and goals.
• Attention to detail and safety minded.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and store incoming product; check against invoices for damage and discrepancies.
• Sort, label, move and store items; optimize crib space and layout.
• Issue items to site employees; document and maintain records of issued/returned items.
• Enter data into computer system; respond to inquiries about inventory levels or delivery schedules.
• Conduct cycle counts and prepare inventory reports.
• Deliver tools or equipment to work locations; locate lost or misplaced items.
• Inspect tools/equipment for defects; report wear or damage to supervisors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
