Job summary

AEP is seeking an entry-level Stores Attendant- B to support the Material Services organization in material accountability, storeroom operations, and storage yards.

Responsibilities include issuing material, inspecting received goods, maintaining records, and operating material handling equipment. Candidates should have 1 year in related areas and at least a high school diploma, with basic computer and math skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in inventory control, warehousing or related work.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue material with proper authorization and file related records.
• Check received material for quantity and condition; process receipts.
• Identify and record material returns and stock movements.
• Operate material handling equipment and forklifts as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels through cycle counts and adjustments.
• Follow safety rules and company procedures.
