Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Crib Attendant to work at a customer site, handling daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory. You will maintain a professional, clean and organized work area and ensure accurate stock records.

The role requires unloading and storing goods, verifying against invoices, and delivering tools to work locations. You may operate a box truck, handle hazardous materials when required, and adapt to shift changes; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ months relevant experience.
• Forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge incl MS-Office products (Vista, Prophet 21).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated.
• Attention to detail and safety minded.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and store incoming products; check for damage and invoice discrepancies.
• Sort and store items on racks or bins according to codes; optimize crib space.
• Issue products to site employees; document issued/returned items.
• Enter stock data into systems; respond to inquiries and maintain records.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reports.
