Job summary

Flying Food Group is seeking a Storeroom Supervisor to manage day-to-day storeroom operations, oversee leads and staff, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials for production and facilities. You will enforce GMP/HACCP/OSHA standards, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate with production and procurement to prevent shortages.

The role requires 3+ years in warehouse/inventory roles, 1-2 years in supervision, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or supply operations, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise storeroom staff, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure accurate receiving, labeling, storage, rotation, and issuing of materials and ingredients.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Maintain storeroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with GMP, HACCP, and OSHA standards.
• Use inventory management systems to track movement, update records, and generate reports.
• Communicate daily with production, purchasing, and inventory control teams to align material needs.
• Ensure all storeroom activities support production timelines and quality standards.
• Lead or support physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safety procedures, PPE usage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide coaching, resolve minor personnel issues, and elevate major concerns to management or HR.
• Prepares shift handovers, logs, and reports as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations or Storeroom Manager.
