Job summary

The Storeroom Supervisor at Flying-Food-Group- in Schiller Park, IL, will oversee all storeroom staff and ensure accurate receiving, labeling, storage, and issuing of materials to support production and facility operations.

You will monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, maintain GMP/HACCP/OSHA standards, and use SAGE ERP to track movement and generate reports, while coordinating with production, purchasing, and inventory control teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse, inventory, or supply operations, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and FIFO principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise storeroom staff, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure accurate receiving, labeling, storage, rotation, and issuing of materials.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Maintain storeroom cleanliness, organization, and GMP/HACCP/OSHA compliance.
• Use inventory management systems (e.g., SAGE) to track movement, update records, and generate reports.
• Communicate daily with production, purchasing, and inventory control teams to align material needs.
• Lead or support physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
