Job summary

CraftMark Bakery, a leading bakery in Indianapolis, seeks a Storeroom Specialist to manage and safeguard multiple plant storerooms. You will oversee a $4.5M spare parts inventory and support capital equipment valued over $125MM, ensuring accurate stock levels, checkout workflows, and tight collaboration with maintenance, planning, and procurement teams.

This role offers an hourly wage of $25.00–$28.00 and a Monday–Friday 3pm–11pm shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on production or manufacturing experience.
• Experience navigating and inputting data within CMMS is mandatory.
• Industrial parts storeroom or logistics inventory experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory flow management: manage stock movements, receipt confirmation, and checkout protocols tied to plant work orders.
• CMMS integrity: standardize descriptions, update part numbers, and tag assets.
• Cycle counting and audits: lead regular counts and reconciliances with internal/external staff.
• Vendor & procurement: create replenishment orders and source alternate parts; address PO disputes.
• Planning & kitting collaboration: coordinate with maintenance planner to reserve parts.
• Inventory optimization: use analytics to set min/max and classify stock.
• 5S organization: keep storerooms clean, secure, and compliant with SOPs.
