Job summary

CraftMark Bakery, LLC is seeking a Storeroom Specialist in Indianapolis to manage multiple plant storerooms and protect capital equipment. You will optimize spare parts stock, ensure accurate check-out workflows, and collaborate across maintenance, planning, and procurement teams.

This role requires strong CMMS proficiency, GMP adherence, and disciplined inventory control with a focus on cycle counting, vendor coordination, and 5S workplace standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• Three (3) years of direct manufacturing or production experience required.
• Prior CMMS data entry and database experience mandatory.
• Experience in an industrial storeroom or logistics inventory control is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Flow Management: own and regulate stock movements tied to plant work orders.
• CMMS Integrity & Data Maintenance: standardize descriptions and update part numbers.
• Cycle Counting & System Auditing: lead regular counts and physical evaluations to reconcile variances.
• Vendor & Procurement Management: create requisitions and manage supplier interfaces.
• Planning & Kitting Collaboration: align with Maintenance Planner Scheduler for parts reservation.
• Strategic Inventory Optimization: refine min/max, classify ABC items, purge obsolete stock.
• 5S & Workplace Organization: maintain secure, clean storerooms in line with SOPs and GMPs.
