Job summary

Compass Group is hiring for a full-time STOREROOM/DELIVERY position at University of Alabama Athletics in Tuscaloosa, AL. The role requires open availability, including nights and weekends, and offers a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour with training, uniform, and shoes provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and good driving record (may be required for transportation duties).
• Prior food service and pantry/freezer storeroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive storage and inventory for all departmental supplies and foodstuffs, maintaining sanitation in storage areas.
• Inventorize and maintain necessary food and other supplies to ensure efficient operation of the Food Service Department.
• Store food and supplies in correct containers and proper storage areas as per department guidelines.
• Maintain records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable food items per standards.
• Date, label, and rotate stock according to procedures (oldest product used first).
• Order food and supplies based on product specifications established by company protocols and procedures.
• Secure designated areas to safeguard associates; follow all security procedures regarding storeroom organization.
• Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure safe arrival.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety.
• Report needed maintenance or repairs of equipment to proper resources.
• Complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies on a timely basis.
• Identify and utilize cleaning chemicals based on manufacturers’ directions and MSDS sheets; use equipment per safety procedures.

Fixed pay rate: $15.00 per hour. Paid training, uniform, and shoes are provided. The role offers growth opportunities and a free shift meal.
