Loews Coronado Bay Resort is seeking a Storeroom/Receiving team member to handle receiving activities, verify items against purchase orders, and transport materials to storage areas. You will also prepare reports and help maintain organized records while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring refrigerated storage temperatures, attending hotel meetings, and supporting inventory accuracy across the department with a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualificações

• Thorough knowledge of meat, produce, seafood and grocery specifications and standard grading classifications.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment, keyboard 25 wpm.
• Working knowledge of computer software to include inventory control, Win95, Word, Excel.
• Effective organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Performs receiving activities according to accepted procedures, verifies receipt of materials and supplies as specified on purchase order documents.
• Transports materials to appropriate storage area in a timely manner
• Completes computerized receiving reports and transmits receiving documentation Shared Services
• Notifies Storeroom Supervisor and Purchasing of any receiving related discrepancies, to facilitate request for credit or replacement or damaged or discrepant goods
• Maintains organized purchase order and receiving documentation files
• Ensure proper dating, tagging of all food products, materials placed into storeroom
• Performs all operations necessary to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the receiving area
• Monitors temperatures in refrigerated storage areas
• Ensures storeroom cleanliness and adherence to all food safety sanitation requirements
• Attends required hotel meetings to: keep abreast of in-house activities/promotions and events; maintain communications with other departments throughout the hotel
• Attends departmental meetings as required to communicate effectively with all Storeroom/Receiving personnel to ensure that they are kept current with pertinent hotel information and activities
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be available Thursday-Sunday. 10 hour shifts and variable shift during the week.

The wage for this position is $26.75.
