Lancesoft seeks a Storeroom Attendant in Middletown, CT for a temporary-to-hire role. The position supports inventory control, data entry, and customer-facing tasks during the shift. Training runs 1st shift for two weeks, then you work 3rd shift Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

This role requires reading comprehension, basic math, pallet jack use, and familiarity with SAP or similar systems. Steel-toe shoes and reliable transportation are required.

• 3+ months relevant experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Experience in warehouse tasks: loading/unloading, picking/packing, moving goods.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, instructions and manuals.
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills; familiarity with MS-Office and warehouse systems.

Responsabilidades

• Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product and checks for damage or discrepancies.
• Sorts, labels, moves and stores items on racks or shelves per product codes.
• Issues items to site employees and maintains issued/returned records.
• Enters data into computerized stock systems and reviews inventory data.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain perpetual inventory records.
• Inspect tools/equipment for defects and report wear; provide basic maintenance as needed.
• Deliver tools or equipment to work locations as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Title: Storeroom Attendant

Pay rate: $21/hr

Shift timings: Hours: 3rd Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 10: 00pm to 6: 00am

Location: Middletown, CT

Job Details

• Training will be on 1st shift for 2 weeks: Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm
• Temp to hire
• Looking for background with Customer Service and Inventory Control
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work (including training schedule)
• Will issue parts and materials. Will assist with inventory.
• Must be able to read and understand written directions. Basic math skills required.
• Will use pallet jack and hand truck.
• Computer skills required. The job will require data entry into different computer programs. May use handheld scanner. SAP experience helpful.
• Customer service skills required. This is a customer facing position.
• Must be able to handle being on their feet standing and walking all day (about 1-2 miles per day).
• Lifting requirement: up to 50 lbs
• Dress code: Jeans or durable pants. T-shirt or polo. No shorts, no rips, no vulgar or suggestive language.
• Steel toe shoes required

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product, goods, tools and/or equipment;unpacks bales, crates, and other containers;checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sorts, labels, moves and stores items;places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product codes;arranges storage to optimize crib space.
• Issues product, goods, tools and/or equipment to site employees;documents and maintains accurate records for issued and returned items.
• Enters data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records;retrieves stored information to respond to inquiries (e.G., inventory levels or delivery schedules.);documents discrepancies on an error log and seeks management advice on appropriate corrective action.
• Requests requisitions to replenish inventory.
• Assists with inventory level maintenance;performs cycle counts and prepares report results.
• Inspects and measures tools/equipment for defects, wear and tear and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Delivers tools or equipment to associate work locations.
• Investigates and locates lost or misplaced equipment or safety supplies.
• May repair, service and lubricate tools and equipment as required.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Job Qualifications

• 3+ months relevant experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Relevant experience and/or aptitude should include:
• Loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment;forklift / cherry picker experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency and/or a demonstrated technical aptitude to learn;preferred technical skills to include but not limited to MS-Office products, Vista, Control, SX.E, Prophet 21.
• Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals);ability to compute rate*** ratio, and percent preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated to accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
• Demonstration of attention to detail and is safety minded.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• May be required to wear various forms of protective equipment (shoes, gloves, protective eyewear, etc.)
• May be required to pass forklift and/or other warehouse equipment certifications (written and/or driving).
• Assigned work shifts may vary and/or rotate.
• Overtime may be required;extended day, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand and may include little to no advanced notice.
• Must be able to handle and work physical inventory;required to lift up to 25 lbs or greater with assistance following standard operating and safety procedures. Other physical requirements including, regularly being required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
