Job summary

MetalTek International in Pevely, Missouri, is seeking a Full-time Tool Crib/Store Room Associate to issue tools to the Cleaning Room, change grinding wheels and carbide bits, and maintain supplies and records.

The role requires Level I Math, Reading, Writing, and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Access). You will monitor MP2 and Mapics systems, keep the store clean, and handle POs and blanket orders. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Daily changes grinding wheels, carbide bits, and other shop tools.
• Handle safety equipment issuance and inventory for employees.
• Assist tool repairman and repair tools as needed.
• Order and inventory all Store Room supplies; track with MP2 and Mapics.
• Maintain Store Room cleanliness and filing of POs and Blanket orders.
• Take end-of-month inventory of supplies.
• Perform other duties as required.

To issue all tools needed by the Cleaning Room and perform all necessary changes for grinding wheels. Maintain all needed supplies on continuous basis. Monitor weld rod tracking program and repair tools as needed. Maintain Tool Crib records on MP2 and Mapics.

Level I Math (Use of whole numbers and simple math); Level I Reading (Ability to read and follow work instructions); Level I Writing (Log inventories).

Basic Computer Skills – word, excel and access.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily changes grinding wheels, carbide bits, etc. for shop personnel.
• Daily issues and maintains safety and personal equipment to employees.
• Assist tool repairman and repair tools on an as needed basis.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory of all supplies stored in the Store Room. Receive and store supplies from shipping. Responsible for tracking this information in MP2 and Mapics systems.
• Maintains the Store Room in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Maintain and File POs and Blanket orders.
• Take end of month inventory of supplies.
• Perform other duties as required.
