Job Description:
- 3RD SHIFT: Monday-Thursday, 7:30pm-6:00am. 30 min unpaid lunch.
- Training will be 8:00am-4:30pm for 1-2 days.
- Pulling and packing customer orders, requiring customer service skills.
- Performing 5S activities (cleaning, organizing, sorting, etc.).
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Computer skills are a plus; training will be provided if needed.
- Lifting requirements: up to 40 lbs unassisted.
- Dress code: solid colored shirt with 4 sleeves, solid colored pants or blue denim jeans, full leather shoes (no canvas or cloth, must be fully enclosed).
Position Summary:
The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting inventory at a customer's location, maintaining a professional, clean, and organized environment.
Essential Duties:
- Unload, receive, and store incoming products, checking for damage and discrepancies.
- Sort, label, move, and store items efficiently.
- Issue products and maintain accurate records.
- Enter data into systems, respond to inquiries, and document discrepancies.
- Replenish inventory and perform cycle counts.
- Inspect tools and equipment, report damages, and perform repairs if needed.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 months relevant experience and/or training; high school diploma preferred.
- Experience in warehouse operations, forklift/cherry picker preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and manuals.
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with MS-Office, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21 preferred.
- Basic math skills, including calculating rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team, be self-motivated, and attentive to safety and detail.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- May require wearing protective equipment.
- Possibility of passing forklift and warehouse equipment certifications.
- Work shifts may vary or rotate; overtime and extended hours may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs with assistance, and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, kneeling, and climbing.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
