Wieland is hiring a Storeroom Attendant. The Storeroom Attendant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining inventory records of storeroom items, tools, parts, and equipment. This role is located in Pine Hall, NC and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $18-$20 per hour

Schedule: Day shift (7am-7pm) (2-2-3 schedule)

Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

Responsibilities

Storeroom Attendant Responsibilities:

Maintains inventory record of all items.
• Posts to inventory records material dispensed using handheld scanner.
• Takes periodic inventory as determined by Manager.
• Verifies inventory records and corrects discrepancies as needed.
• Conducts cycle counts as assigned by Manager.
• Cuts copper and metal banding for production use and makes / assembles hydraulic hoses for maintenance repairs.
• Reports extraordinary or unusual inventory to the Storeroom Manager.
• Obtains information for items or material to be returned to supplier or sent out.
• Takes orders for uniforms and helps fit new operators for the correct size (coveralls and casting greens).
• Receives telephone calls and records fuel pump usage.
• Maintains excellent housekeeping conditions of Storeroom storage area and access to and from the Storeroom.
• Handles parts and supplies and works from platform ladders.
• Operates material delivery cart throughout the industrial plant.

Storeroom Attendant Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and vendors and to use good judgment in recognizing scope of responsibilities.
• Knowledge of inventory and general warehousing and economy of motion techniques.
• Ability and willingness to learn computer-based SAP Inventory Management Processes (daily use).
