About This Position

This position is responsible for overseeing all receiving, storeroom inventory, and operations.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Checking shipments by comparing them with purchase orders and/or invoices to ensure what is being received matches the order (quantity, price, quality, state, size, count, weight tolerance, acceptable expiration date, and proper temperature).
  • Working with the Director of Food and Beverage, Executive Chef, and Director of Finance to ensure proper handling, transport, and documentation of all food ordering and receiving between departments.
  • Following established standard operating procedures and local health regulations.
  • Documenting discrepancies and notifying supervisors immediately of shortages.
  • Assisting with vendor setup and communication regarding items to be used.
  • Receiving orders and rotating stock to prevent spoilage, ensuring proper dating and storage.
  • Assisting in conducting end-of-month physical inventory.
  • Keeping the storeroom clean and organized at all times.

Qualifications and Expectations

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in purchasing, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
