Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a per diem Warehouse Associate to support UCLA Health's hospital and ambulatory clinics. You will handle receiving, stocking, pick/pack, and delivery of medical supplies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include data entry in the Materials Management system, processing shipments, pulling materials, and delivering orders by truck or van. You will operate warehouse equipment and maintain inventory controls while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse receiving, stocking and picking/packing.
• Familiarity with data entry in a warehouse management system.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, pick/pack and deliver medical supplies to UCLA Health facilities.
• Enter data into the Materials Management system and process shipments.
• Prepare orders by pulling materials and packing boxes for delivery.
• Operate forklift, order picker and delivery vehicles as required.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and maintain inventory controls.

Description

This position works primarily in a warehouse environment. You will perform receiving functions, stock, pick/pack, and deliver medical supplies to UCLA Health's hospital and ambulatory clinics.

Responsibilities include:

• Data entry utilizing the Materials Management computer system
• Complete shipments by processing and loading orders and ensure all goods are in excellent condition
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Incumbents will be required to operate warehouse equipment, drive forklifts, order pickers, and delivery trucks.
• Completes deliveries by driving truck or van and coordinates the timely delivery of supplies and equipment adhering to delivery schedule procedures.
• Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements
• Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and report any missing or lost inventory to management
• Provides quality service by following organization standards
• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat

This is an "as needed" per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary.

Per Diem roles may convert to career.

Pay rate:27.96 hourly
