Job summary

UCLA Outpatient Clinics is seeking a per diem warehouse clerk to support UCLA Health hospital and ambulatory clinics. The role focuses on receiving, stocking, picking/packing, and delivering medical supplies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include data entry in the Materials Management system, processing shipments, loading orders, and ensuring goods are in excellent condition. You will operate warehouse equipment and drive delivery trucks, with schedule varying as needed.

Qualifications

• Data entry and accuracy using the Materials Management system.
• Experience with warehouse operations and stock handling.
• Ability to operate forklifts and delivery vehicles as needed.
• Adherence to safety and quality standards in a healthcare setting.
• Flexibility for an "as needed" per diem schedule.

Responsibilities

• Data entry utilizing the Materials Management computer system
• Complete shipments by processing and loading orders and ensure all goods are in excellent condition
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Incumbents will be required to operate warehouse equipment, drive forklifts, order pickers, and delivery trucks.
• Completes deliveries by driving truck or van and coordinates the timely delivery of supplies and equipment adhering to delivery schedule procedures.
• Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements
• Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and report any missing or lost inventory to management
• Provides quality service by following organization standards
• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat

Pay rate: $27.96 hourly
