Job summary

UCLA Health in Van Nuys, CA is seeking a Storekeeper, Per Diem – Warehouse to manage receiving, stocking and delivery of medical supplies across campuses.

The role includes data entry in the Materials Management system, enforcing inventory controls, and operating warehouse equipment. You will deliver supplies by truck or van and ensure orders are processed accurately and on schedule.

Schedule is variable and per diem; hours and days will vary to meet departmental needs.

Work Hours: variable schedule including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays based on departmental needs
Employment Type: 6 – Staff- Per Diem
Duration: Indefinite
Salary Range: $26.36 - $26.36 Hourly (primary) / $25.10 - $25.10/hr (as needed)

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving functions, stocking, pick/pack, and delivery of medical supplies to UCLA Health’s hospitals and ambulatory clinics.
• Data entry utilizing the Materials Management computer system.
• Complete shipments by processing and loading orders and ensuring all goods are in excellent condition.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pull materials; pack boxes; place orders in delivery area.
• Operate warehouse equipment, drive forklifts, order pickers, and delivery trucks.
• Deliver medical supplies by driving truck or van, coordinating timely delivery of supplies and equipment in adherence to delivery schedule procedures.
• Maintain truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Enforce inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and reporting any missing or lost inventory to management.
• Provide quality service by following organizational standards.
• Preserve a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.

This is an “as needed” per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary.
