Job summary

Entergy in New Orleans is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Associate to support material handling and store operations. You will adhere to safety rules, lead safety meetings, and manage inventory ordering, receiving, and stocking with attention to accuracy and compliance with environmental records.

The role requires forklift experience, the ability to lift heavy coils, and proficiency with store software. A safety-sensitive position with pre-employment and random drug testing is in effect.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience.
• Prefer a minimum 3-5 years’ experience.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Prefer a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience.
• Perform basic math calculations.
• Learn identity and nomenclature of standard electric utility material.
• Basic Computer operation knowledge. Have a working knowledge of Asset Suite and other stores related software and applications such as Warehouse Management Software.
• Ability to drag or roll 110 lb. coils of wire and lift up to 60-80 lbs.
• This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing.

• Maintain a clean and orderly stores facility.
• Must be able to become an Environmental Champion and maintain Environmental records associated with Stores operations.
