Job summary

Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice seeks a Storekeeper for Augusta, GA. Under supervision, you will receive, store, and issue materials, and perform clerical tasks related to stock control.

Responsibilities include delivering supplies, organizing storage, labeling items, and maintaining inventory accuracy to support facility operations. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of shipping/receiving experience, or 6 months at the lower level.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience in shipping and receiving.
• Or six (6) months of experience at the lower level Supply/Warehouse Clerk 1 (FES010) or position equivalent.
• Background check and criminal history review may be required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and transports supplies.
• Determines storage methods and locations based on turnover and environment.
• Issues and/or sells supplies or merchandise.
• Marks items with identification tags or labeling tools.
• Receives, counts, and records stock data; stores items in warehouses.
