American Crystal Sugar Company is seeking a Storekeeper to manage materials within a $2,000 limit and support SAP-based inventory management. Responsibilities include coordinating storeroom activities, assisting supervisors and crews, and maintaining chemical and material inventories essential to factory operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two year degree in accounting or business or equivalent experience.
• Must understand MSDS data sheets.
• Strong SAP MM and purchasing knowledge.
• Good skills with Windows, Excel and Word.
• Ability to identify storeroom items in SAP MM.
• Knowledge of ACSC cataloging and parts numbering.
• Effective verbal and written communication with staff and suppliers.
• Ability to provide clear work direction.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain chemicals, coal, coke and lime rock inventories to ensure supplies.
• Monitor inventory cycle counts and yearly stock items.
• Coordinate monthly measurements for coal, coke and rock piles.
• Perform daily use calculations to charge proper accounts.
• Issue chemicals and major operating supplies per procedures.
• Coordinate storeroom staff duties with Shift Supervisors.
• Synchronize duties of Storeroom Specialists for shipping/receiving.
• Work closely with storeroom staff and Truck Driver.
• Lead maintenance of chemical storage and steel warehouses.
• Review obsolete inventory and stocking levels.
