Job summary

American Crystal Sugar Company is seeking a Storeroom Coordinator for the East Grand Forks factory. You will issue purchase orders up to $2,000 and coordinate larger purchases with Corporate Purchasing, while maintaining inventory levels and ensuring contracts are used.

The role involves directing storeroom staff, enabling timely material handling, and supporting financial processes like invoice resolution with Accounts Payable. Experience with SAP requisitions is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate’s degree in business, management or related field required.
• Familiarity with factory equipment, operation, maintenance and repair important.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to direct staff clearly.

Responsibilities

• Issue and track purchase orders for items <= $2,000.
• Coordinate purchases over $2,000 with Corporate Purchasing staff.
• Maintain inventory control levels and ensure items come from Central Warehouse or approved contracts.
• Support MSDS database maintenance and chemical approval processes.
• Provide SAP requisition training to EGF users.
• Coordinate material pickups and stock transport orders from Central Warehouse.
