Ziply Fiber is expanding its fiber network and seeking a Storekeeper to manage inventory planning and control. You will analyze data-based forecasts to develop inventory requirements that meet service levels and distribution goals, ensuring efficient use of company resources.

The role involves processing material requests, coordinating with customer service and operations, and maintaining stock levels at multiple locations. A forklift license and strong Microsoft Office skills are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Inventory management experience including cycle counting and wall-to-wall inventories.
• Current forklift operating experience and ability to load/unload trailers.
• Experience with inventory management systems; Infinium system preferred.
• Experience with SCI material ordering system, preferred.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, auto-insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Excel, Word.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and requests follow-up activities for inventory stocked at Supply Point locations.
• Assists and advises customers.
• Follows orders to completion including material return, if necessary.
• Maintains stock items at a desired level to meet efficiency standards; receives stock, ships material, and sets up material for pickup.

Job Summary

The Storekeeper plans and controls inventory activities by analyzing data-based application system forecasts to develop and maintain inventory requirements to ensure that service levels, inventory turnover and distribution of inventory goals are met which provide efficient use of company resources.

• Provideinformation to customers and vendors concerning inquires for stock keepingunits assigned or system standard purchases.
• Investigatediscrepancies and initiate corrective action to forecasts and distribution requirements based on available stocking plans.
• Coordinatesand requests follow up activities for inventory stocked at Supply Point locations.
• Assistand advise customers.
• Followorders to completion including material return, if necessary.
• Maintainstock items at a desired level to meet efficiency standards; receive stock, ship material, and set up material for pick up as required.
• Workunder limited supervision. Follow all appropriate laws, Company policies and procedures.
• Performsother duties as required to support the business and evolving organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Inventory management experience required, including thorough understanding of cycle counting and wall to wall inventories.
• Current Forklift operating experience and competent in operating forklift, including ability to load/unload trailers and put away merchandise.
• Experience with inventory management systems. Working knowledge of Infinium system, preferred.
• Successful experience with conducting inventories.
• Working knowledge of SCI (material ordering system), preferred.
• Must have an advance knowledge and experience using the following Microsoft Suite Products: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, autoinsurance, and satisfactory driving record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Readingcomprehension, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Basicmath skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers)
• Basickeyboard skills (alpha and numeric).
• Abilityto obtain/maintain certification to operate a forklift.
• Abilityto operate a vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
• Abilityto use small hand tools.
• Abilityto work varied hours and/or days (holidays, weekends, overtime/call outs).
